Fashion Illustration Redefined at FIT

On Monday November 10th,  FIT will host a panel discussion on the subject”Fashion Illustration Redefined” from 6pm – 7:30pm in the Katie Murphy Amphitheatre, Pomerantz Center.  Panelists will include Stephanie Pesakoff – Founder of Illustration Division, our illustrator Carlos Aponte, as well as fellow illustrator Izak Zenou, Merrilee Hesterfer – Director, Art Producer at Clinique, and Rosmary Torre – Author, Chair of The Neady Collection. Moderator will be Karen Cannell – Head of Special Collections, FIT Library.  Fashionable Art: The Frances Neady Collection of Original Fashion Illustration exhibition runs October 21, 2014-January 23, 2015.

Laura was commissioned by The Brooklyn Museum to illustrate and design products being sold in conjunction with their current exhibition, Killer Heels: The Art of the High-Heeled Shoe. The show will run through February 15, 2015, and the products are available for purchase at the Museum shop.
